For the upcoming winter season, Vans has hooked up an outdoor version of the low-top Vans SK8-HI Womens. Here we’re seeing three colorways including pine green, mahogany red, and black, all of which are fitted with a rubber coated canvas upper. Meanwhile a combination of nubuck and canvas is applied to each pair’s inner lining. Anchoring each look is a white rubber sole.
Berkeley, California’s Bows And Arrows, who opted to work on the Vans SK8-HI Mens. The shoe’s main design detail jumps out at you upon first glance, as not one but three layered Vans jazz stripes dressed in vibrant blue, red, and yellow pop off the simple black leather upper. White contrast stitching is used on all the shoe’s seams for a little extra flair, and a brightly colored outsole corresponds with the upper’s special detailing. Vans SK8-HI Cheap touches are then provided by a small Bows And Arrows tag on the tongue and a special alternate pair of branded B&A laces — perfect if you want to go full-on maximalist with your kicks.
