2024.3 Update - Release Date: September 18, 2024
This update requires the Autodesk Installation Service to be version 1.43 or higher. To update to the latest version of the Autodesk Installation Service, perform the following:
- Browse to the C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AdODIS\V1 folder and double-click the RemoveODIS.exe file.
- Once the current version of ODIS is removed, download the new version from link and run it.
After this update is applied successfully, the build number specified on the Help > About dialog will be:

This update resolves and recovers files with extensible storage issues, addresses customer reported contrast issues, and addresses potential security vulnerabilities. After this update is applied successfully, the build number specified in the Help > About dialog will be 24.3.0.13.

- Addressed potential security vulnerabilities.
API Extensible Storage
- Improvements have been made to assist you in removing schema errors from previously corrupted files. These improvements also restructure the usage of extensible storage to mitigate risks and optimize workflows. These fixes maintain compatibility with older 2024 updates.
- Corrected behavior of the API Document.EraseSchemaAndAllEntities() to ensure it removes entities from all parts of a Revit model.
UI Framework
- Updated multiple icons with better readability on Ribbon, Project Browser and View Control Bar.
- Improved the readability for selection status in the Draw Gallery on the Ribbon.
- Improved the font render with higher contrast in Project Browser.
- Increased the display contrast for texts in Properties Palette to reduce the eyes strain.
- Improved the readability for scroll bars on Properties Palette, Project Browse and drawing areas.
- Improved the readability for Type Selector lists and the divided lines in Properties Palette.
- Increased the display contrast for texts in Project Browser to reduce the eyes strain.
Installation Notes
Revit 2024.3 Update does not support uninstall, once Revit 2024.3 Update is applied Revit 2024 can not be reverted to its pre-update state.
